During her time at Osono's bakery, Kiki decides to open her own delivery service, delivering ordered goods to customers by broomstick. Kiki offers to help around the bakery if Osono lets her stay in their spare room. Kiki befriends a couple who own a bakery Osono and her husband Fukuo.
