Alt+ SysRq+ r e i s u b works to do a Pi-restart. I also tried killing it via ssh - no chance.

But the system is “too frozen” to be able to kill x-server. Login then works.ĭuring a freeze when already working in a desktop-environment, Alt+ SysRq+ k isn’t changing much. Alt+ SysRq+ k again brings me back to the start with a working login-screen and all available desktops. Login then leads to a black screen with blinking white dash. But if I do that via lxqt-desktop, it shows the desktop for a second and then brings back the login-screen (where I suddenly only can choose ubuntu-desktop). I can use mouse and keyboard again and try to login. I added kernel.sysrq = 1 in /etc/sysctl.d/nf and tried several things during such freezes.ĭuring the login-screen-freeze, Alt+ SysRq+ k does something. Other tasks like ffmpeg-downloads are still working.
RESILIO SYNC UBUNTU RASPBERRY PI 3 MOVIE
I can still hear audio (of a movie for example).

After 1 or 2 hours (often during CPU/GPU-heavy work), the system freezes, which means: It happens in both of my desktops, ubuntu and lxqt. The bigger problem for me are such freezes when I’m logged in. I’m using Logitech MK120 Keyboard and Mouse (wired). Running Ubuntu Desktop 20.10 on Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB, i have problems with freezes.įirst, I can reproduce this type of freeze.
